About the University

Italian University is rooted in Europe’s distance-learning initiatives. The university was established on 15 April 2005 by decree of the Italian Ministry of Education and granted the authority to award official diplomas.

Its mission is to make higher education accessible online, to offer international students a European-standard education, and to support lifelong learning.

It appears on Türkiye’s YÖK recognition list; equivalency applications can be filed after graduation (YÖK’s current regulations and exam conditions apply to online study).
